Acts 1:8 Faith Partners

Why Missions?

Jesus told His disciples that they would tell of who He is and what He has done “…in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). We believe followers of Jesus are called to that same mission today.

Missions is Church Planting

At the beginning of Acts Jesus tells his missionary apostles that they would be empowered by His Spirit and would spread out across the world proclaiming Him. Then we watch in Acts as the gospel spreads and churches are planted from Jerusalem to the "ends of the earth." Missions always begins with gospel proclamation where Jesus has not been named and finds it completion when churches are planted in a reproducing process so the nations can bow to and find life in Jesus.
