Personal Story: As an eight year old, Matthew Steven Pearson accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at First Baptist Church in Hartselle, Alabama. In 1995, Bro. Matt responded to God's calling on his life into the gospel ministry. God led him to Paul's words in Acts 20:24 where he said, "However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me--the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace." God used these words to call him into lifelong ministry and service to the gospel. Bro. Matt was ordained to the gospel ministry at Central Baptist Church in Decatur, Alabama in 1999. Matt graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in December 2003 with a Master of Divinity in Expository Preaching. On May 21, 2010, Bro. Matt received his Ph.D. in Practical Theology with a preaching emphasis from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.
Spouse: Mrs. Kay Wilson (August 17, 2006)
Children: Leigh Wilson Wolf (1973), Craig Wilson (1976), and Joe Deaton (1980)
Hobbies: Bob enjoys watching old western movies, spending time with his family and is an avid University of Memphis basketball fan.

Personal Story: Bob accepted Christ at a young age. He was blessed to have many opportunities to grow in his faith and relationship to Christ through training in his home and church. Bob is a native Memphian, baptized and ordained to the gospel ministry by Bellevue Baptist Church. After graduating from Mississippi College he attended and graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served in pastoral ministry for more than thirty years. Before serving at Wynne Baptist, he was Associational Missionary for the Tri-County Baptist Association.

Personal Story: Jeff grew up going to church and he had always heard about God and he had always heard about Jesus, but never had a good understanding of what a personal relationship with Jesus really was. When he was 20 years old, while attending the University of Arkansas, Jeff realized the forgiveness that God offers through Jesus Christ and he committed his life to Him. Things have not been the same sense then. Jeff graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in History (1999), was married to Kim shortly there after, and they headed to Burkina Faso, West Africa, with the International Mission Board in the Fall of 2000 to serve a two-year term among the Dagaari people. In May 2006, Jeff graduated from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree.

Hobbies: Randy enjoys reading, running, and waterskiing.

Personal Story: Randy accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior on a youth retreat the summer following his 7th grade year. He met his wife Hannah while attending Auburn University. During his time at Auburn University God called him into full time vocational ministry. After graduating from Auburn he graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity from the Billy Graham School of Missions, Evangelism, and Church Growth.

Hobbies: Mark likes to spend with his family, enjoys hunting, and keeping up with Auburn Football. WAR EAGLE!!!

Personal Story: As Mark was working towards an under graduate degree at The University of North Alabama, God began drawing him into a closer, more personal walk with Him. Although he had plans to own his own business, Mark came to the point where he realized God’s call to vocational ministry. Mark went on to earn a Master’s of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has served in student ministry in New Mexico and Texas. Before coming to Wynne Baptist he served as Pastor of Turkey Creek Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee.
Spouse: Mrs. Laura Burdeshaw (May 16, 1992)
Children: Tyler (March 1995) and Elaine (June 1998)
Hobbies: David enjoys spending time with his family, reading, watching movies, listening to music, and watching the Auburn Tigers.
Began Working on Staff: August 2010
Personal Story: David grew up in Mobile, Alabama. At the age of 9 he accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. While he was a student at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, David served on a revival team during the summer of 1987. It was during this time that he realized that God was calling him into full time vocational ministry. David has served in several churches in Alabama since 1992.
