Ladies’ Bible Study: February 7 / February 8, 2012

Connections Class is a the ideal way for you to get ‘connected’ to Wynne Baptist. Taught by Pastor Matt, this class will meet four consecutive Sunday mornings (2/5 - 2/26) during the Sunday School hour (9:45a-10:45a). You will learn the basics and beliefs of Wynne Baptist Church (WBC), what WBC expects, and where various ministries take place. This class is also a great place to ‘connect’ with others and to ask Pastor Matt questions you may have regarding Wynne Baptist.

Connections Class: February 5, 12, 19, & 26, 2012

Join the Women’s Ministry this fall to fellowship with other women, study God’s Word and learn to live out your faith. This year, we will offer Beth Moore’s newest Bible Study on the Book of James. Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer.

Girlie Girl: February 17 - 18, 2012

WBC’s annual Valentine’s Banquet will be February 12th, at 6 pm in the Activities Building. Tickets will be available to purchase January 22 (call Church Office: 238-3271). Guys, put this on your calendar and plan to bring your Valentine to WBC on February 12th!

Valentine’s Banquet: February 12, 2012

Our Girl’s Only event will be “Girlie Girl” on February 17-18, 2012 in the Student Room. Our guest speaker is Monica Hawkins, who will challenge our young ladies in areas of godliness, holiness and purity, as well as address practical issues like dating, style, and everyday teenage drama! The cost of the event is $49 and is due when you register.

Manly Man: March 3 - 4, 2012

Our Guy’s Only event will be “Manly Man” on March 2-4, 2012 when all young men (7th-12th grade) will seclude themselves in plain view of the world, for a weekend of chaos, great food, and tough guy fellowship! We will transform the open field by the church to our weekend campsite, where we will sleep in tents, cook over the fire, play insane outdoor games, encounter surprise events, as well as address how to love the Lord Jesus as a young man! The cost of this event will be $49, which is due when you register.

Harvest Day at Wynne Baptist: March 25, 2012

March 25th will be a day of harvesting. Plan now to invite your neighbors, co-workers and family to join you on this special Sunday. Our guest, Junior Hill, will speak from his heart to us, with an emphasis of knowing Christ and making Him Lord. Begin now praying for those people you will invite!

The Fragrance Conference will be held on Febraury 3 and 4 at Wynne Baptist Church. This conference will provide opportunities for our worship leadeship team to experience worship, prayer, fellowship and training. Our special guests will be Dave Williamson and Dennis Jernigan.

Easter Sunday: April 8, 2012

Join us for one of two celebration services as we worship the risen Savior on Easter Sunday, April 8. Come worship with us at 8:30am or 10:30am. Since Sunday School Classes will not be meeting, we have planned a fellowship time for everyone between the two celebration services at 10:00am.

Wynne Changers: June 10 - 15, 2012

Exciting plans for this summer that will interest all of you!! Our Student Ministry has gone away for the past 6 years to World Changers and had an amazing experience each time! So many of our students (and adults as well) have been blessed serving those less fortunate, meeting kids from all over, and growing in their love of the Lord at World Changers. This summer, we are bringing that same experience to Wynne, AR. WBC will be hosting Wynne Changers June 10-15, 2012.

Mission Wynne: June 11 - 15, 2012

We will once again set aside a week for missions in our own community. During the week of June 11-16 we will prayerwalk the city, facilitate Kidz Camps and minister to families in their own neighborhoods. Plan to be the “hands and feet” of Jesus in Wynne!

Get ready kids: VBS takes off July 9-13 at Wynne Baptist Church on a high flying adventure. Children entering kindergarten through those who have completed sixth grade will enjoy crafts, games, Bible stories—the things that have always made VBS great! Sky VBS will help kids discover God’s Word in a fun and unforgettable way!
